About the Program Begin
your journey to becoming an OM yoga teacher. In this training you will
learn the principals of OM yoga including the benefits, the philosophy
and how this relates to our everyday lives. By the end of this course
you will have the confidence to manifest and transmit the OM yoga
method with your own authentic presence. Upon successful completion of
this program, teacher trainees will be certified to teach OM yoga and
qualified to register with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level. CEUs also available.
Our
original 200-hour program will prepare you to teach yoga with clarity,
compassion, and confidence. The programs may be structured in a variety
of formats, but the content is always comprised of 9 original modules
(see below).

Requirements All
applicants must be able to do urdhva dhanurasana, sirsasana (without
support of the wall), and adho mukha vrksasana (with or without the
wall). All applicants must have a consistent yoga practice of at least
two years.
Students will attend 30 asana classes during program.
Due to the hands-on nature of the program, perfect attendance is
strongly recommended. The Independent Study (practical portion of the
course),including hands-on adjustments and leading practice classes
must be competed by end of program. There is written homework, reading
assignments, final exam, and a final teaching project. Upon successful
completion, teacher trainees will be qualified to register with the
Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level.

OM yoga center is directed by Cyndi Lee. Cyndi is a long-time practitioner of both Hatha Yoga and Tibetan Buddhism, and has a reputation as a nurturing, compassionate teacher with an offbeat and playful style. Before founding OM yoga center in 1998, she taught yoga internationally for more than twenty years. She writes on yoga and Buddhism for several magazines and is the author of several books including Yoga Body, Buddha Mind and OM Yoga: a Guide to Daily Practice.

hands-on adjustments, work with a mentor & receive feedback to be
completed within a 60 day period. Finally, you will teach an asana
class as your final exam. If you pass with flying colors, you've
graduated from teacher training!
