CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Yoga Flow

This class will progress through a series of flowing movements such as:

sun salutations (a & b series) then into a sequence of standing and balancing postures, while synchronizing the breath with each posture; One may find that this consistent practice may create purification and health from the inside out, while gently improving cardiovascular energy, strength, and flexiblity.  This class is geared more towards an intermediate student whom is seeking a consistent, strong, foundational practice.  Yet, a great class for beginners to observe and join in, when comfortable.



Restorative Yoga

Level 1-2 class for individuals who wish to heal or restore their
state of wellness.  Gentle yoga practice that will improve ones
range of joint mobility while creating more flexibility and develop-
ing balance within mind and body.  Attention to breath will allow
for ease of movement and elimination of stress--a wonderful end
to your day.
 
 
Kripalu Yoga
Designed for the beginning and returning student, this class in-
vites you to coordinate your breath with movement, and enjoy
a series of fundamental yoga postures that allow your own pure
energy to flow. Kripalu Yoga is growing in popularity because it
is accessible to people of all body types, ages, and fitness levels.
You will relieve tension, build strength and flexibility, and re-
vitalize your mind and body.
 
 
 

Yoga and Meditation

Yoga postures, structural alignment, breath awareness, chanting, and
visualization are used as enjoyable means to make meditation accessible
and rewarding in this relaxing, challenging, and informative intermediate-level class. Having thoroughly and systematically prepared the body and mind according to ancient tradition, each class will conclude with about twenty minutes of seated breath-work and meditation. The intention of this class is to renew with peace and clarity of mind andto encourage and support a personal home practice forconsistent and progressive benefits.
  

    

Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini yoga was designed as the yoga for everyday people. 
It is a yoga created for people who want to be healthy, joyful,
and centered as they carry out lives in the working world as
members of families and communities.  Kundalini works fast
and powerfully to give you fortitude and integrity in your life.
   
 
     
NIA
NIA is a transformation movement done barefoot to diverse
and inspiring music that teaches you to be more JOYFUL,
EXPRESSIVE & ALIVE in your body. Nia is holistic; engaging
your body, mind, emotion, and spirit. Nia draws from dance
arts, martial arts & healing arts to create purposeful movement
that will help you heal, grow, and learn. Nia is practice by people
of all walks of life, ages, and fitness levels. EveryBODY welcomed.
